Today in the office, one of my middle school moms told me a funny story. She said that her 6th Grade son was really impacted by our service last night. Sarah Rigdon shared on having a mind that is “renewed.” The 6th grade boy was challenged to renew his mind in the scriptures. The mom told me that later that night, she walked by his room. He had his Bible set out like he was preaching a message. However, she noticed he kept slinging his head to the right.
“Why are you doing that,” she asked.
“I’m preaching,” he responded.
“I know that. I’m asking what you’re doing with your head?”
“Oh. That’s what Aaron does when he’s preaching.”
It proves the old leadership maxim: You teach what you know. You reproduce who you are.
