Between the Tulip Festival and the Downtown Carnival, Spring is happening in a big way in Portland. We didn't want to miss a minute.
We took some friends to the Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival a few weeks ago. We liked it so much fun (and Valentine ate so much popcorn) that we decided to go back. Most of the flowers were gone, but we still had an amazing afternoon.
AROUND THE HOUSE
City leaders started the festival during the first decade of the 20th Century to put Portland on the map and brand it “the summer capital of the world.” We had an amazing time down by the waterfront.
